Hi,
Olvera is a wonderful Village. it is one of the Pueblo Blancos. There are quite a few good bars and restaurants. It has a thriving, growing community, with schools, health centre, dentists, supermarkets, etc. The people there are so friendly. I've had a house there for a couple of years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else( but thats just my opinion)!! It's about 30 mins from Ronda, 1 hour from Jerez, 1 1/2 hours from Seville and 50 mins from Antequera. You can see the stunning Castle on the Mountian as you come into Olvera.
is the bar open yet?!!

It is a very pretty place but beware that it has some VERY steep streets and some VERY narrow ones too and that parking can be a bit of a nightmare. There are loads of expats there these days.

Although there are a few more ex-pats there now than when I first went there, its nothing like the costas. I wouldn't say there's loads. And yes the streets can be very steep and narrow, but thats up in the old part of town and some are not great for driving on.

Yes its a "picture postcard" type village. If your looking for village life and you dont mind hiking up the steep streets, its worth considering.
