p3 (by the train station) and p4 past the atc tower are both free. theres a shuttle bus from p4 to take you to and from the car park.

P3 is the one past the ATC tower with the free shuttle bus, I think P4 is the one by the station.spanish_lad wrote:p3 (by the train station) and p4 past the atc tower are both free. theres a shuttle bus from p4 to take you to and from the car park.
P3 is now very limited space wise due to construction equipment but there's always room to park on the surrounding roads.

Don't take it for granted as there was no where to park over Xmas even on the roads so could be tricky when you have a plane to catch

Good point but I think you can class the xmas period as 'a bit out of the ordinary'. All the other times I've used over the last year (about 15 times!!) there's never been a problem.

Red Parking, EasyParking, Parking Sur. All off-airport with shuttle buses.
Report in press today that over 45 cars have been broken into, tyres slashed etc over Xmas period in official Airport Parking!
Maybe off-airport secure parking is a better bet. I used Red for a 24hr parking and they were OK.

It's very interesting that there's only damage reported as opposed to theft from vehicles, now call me cynical but who could possibly benefit from this, possibly the ones who lose business from free parking? surely not?.

Re: Parking at Malaga Airport?
We parked with San Isidro, inside parking, only 7 euros per night. A lot cheaper than parking at UK airports!!! Wouldn't it be better to have peace of mind?
