How many members NOT on Costa del Sol

Postby Jool » Mon Mar 30, 2009 11:11 am

This forum seems to share a lot of local info about the CDS and I´m just wondering how many regulars are located elsewhere? I know of Karanjon and Lavanda being elsewhere but anyone else? Anyone over my way?

Jool, I wish more people would show their location in their details. It is interesting to know where they are living.

I too can't understand why they hide it,how many times do you read some ones post and say, oh that sounds interesting, i would like to see that, or go there, only to find you have not got a clue where abouts.

I cannot think think of any reason why a person should hide their location. I can't even think of anything devious or mischievous. Perhaps those that don't could tell us why?

Who hides their location? Maybe they just didn't bother to fill it in! People could put anywhere, I could actually be in Manchester

Everyone knows that Retro is in Marbella :D

Hi,
Agree, would make answering some posts easier knowing the location.
I see only those with locations have posted so far........... :?

Kathy you are absolutely right, I don't show my location because when I signed in I didn't know how to fill in all the detail, I wasn't that good on computer. I still am not. I will try to fill it in. I am sure a lot of people have got the same reason as me.

I don't know if I should change mine. I see someones location as "Inland Marbella". Consider myself that but as facing open land as far as the eye can see, close to the sea though. Maybe we should all add our addresses and we can all have a google

What about those who move between the two countries, should they put dates when they are here

No its just that the vast majority seem to be around Malaga-Marbella way...........and that is very different to Almeria, Mojacar area all along the coastline etc.......

Sorry I'm late, just found profile page
I'm sure I was a "Tourist"(didn't put that on), until recently.

I thought the whole point of the "handles", was to have an air of mystique

We went near Ronda yesterday and it was snowing. Has been cold here for the past few days, had the heating on most of the time. 15C but feels like 10Cin the wind.

Well I would be happy to declare where I am, but when I wake up in the morning I have to ask my Wife...' where are we'..? :?
I could do with a roll around sign with destinations on like they have on the buses...

This morning I woke up to the sound of a bull bellowing....turned out to be a dustcart reversing...

Regards,
Gordon...
