Fit Flop Shoes / Sandals - whatever

Postby hattie » Fri Aug 21, 2009 6:08 pm

My friend wants to buy some Fit Flops but does not want to buy them on line as she finds that mine are a narow fitting for her (although a different size).
Does anyone know a shop that sells them in this area - say Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Malaga etc.
please.

Sorry - they are a brand name like Clarkes - they cost £45 in UK and don't want to buy on line in case they don't fit.

The problem is that your heading says Fit Flop, so maybe we assumed you meant Flip Flop.
Further confusion came when the web address was given as Flitflop.
Clear?

I knew they should have called them something else. :D will really have to change these glasses.
My OH spent ages last night looking for "flip flops" on google until I noticed what he was looking for.

Yes they are called Fit Flop as in the title and they are brilliant shoes to wear - just difficult to find here in Spain and obviously harder to explain on here :!:

Blimey Jool. You always seem to know just who, what, where, when, how and why. You don't run an on-line directory, do you? Anyway, I'm impressed. :D

I tried a pair on in Gibraltar and found them really uncomfortable - the toe post rubbed the side my big toe! A friend of mine tried them and found the same problem.

You can buy them at Elle Morgan in Marina Banus shopping centre also. I have seen the extremely small selection they have in the sports shoes section of El Corte Ingles, wasn't too impressed. I bought a pair at the beginning of last summer online from the UK & have worn and worn them, they are still like brand new & are the most comfortable flip flops I've ever had, don't know if they really do what they say on the box though, I've not noticed a big difference!

Friend went to El Corte Ingles the other side of the Airport and they do not stock them so today she went to the one in Mijas Costa and was told they have finished.
She will have to go to Gib next month if they have them there.

Hi Hattie

Sorry, but it's only SOME El Corte Ingles that stock them as per Jool's post. The 1 in Malaga is the main store in Avda. Andalucia and also in Puerto Banus. The actual fit flop site only shows these 2 addresses for this area for ECI. When I saw them in Banus they were in the sportswear section, by the trainers/socks area, not a great deal to choose from though. Your friend could also try opposite in Marina Banus at Elle Morgan, not seen myself, but makes sense to view both shops if in area.
