road from alhaurin town to los morenos
is this road shut yet and if it is, is there access for residents?or do you have to drive into coin and come back on the new coin road
Re: road from alhaurin town to los morenos
Road is open but delays at the new roundabout at Los Morenos. Los Morenos to Coin now open. Lower end of road from AEG still unsurfaced. Mijas Road deplorable and Fuengirola Road closed from Los Morenos. Access to Casa Flores Garden Centre via Alhaurin Golf complex.

So if I go on the road Coin bypass to Monda/Marbella and turn off at the Coin/Fuengirola turn off, I can now get to the BP petrol station at the roundabout opposite the restaurant but still have to go through Mijas Pueblo to get to Fuengirola/Mijas Costa? At this would save going through Alhaurin if correct.

came back on the mijas road today. the roads still bumpy as hell
morenos to aeg open, the new bits smooth as an icerink, just as it should be, but there's about 200 metres not tarmacked.. its like a mountaineering course

Re: road from alhaurin town to los morenos
me too, but to get to the mijas road you have to pass thru a "closed" road.
im not gonna go from aeg to villafranco, along to coin, thru coin and past the guardia, up the hill, along to los morenos and all that just to go on the mijas road. no thanks, thats like driving an extra 30 minutes to get to fuengerola. rather go to malaga and along. at least the road can be called a road not a track.
