national strike tomorrow? (wednesday 13 april) ??

some one just told me that they were advised by their vet to change a former appointment from tomorrow, to today instead.. because there´s a national strike tomorrow?

anyone heard anything about this?

The strike is in the Sierra Sur region so shouldn't affect Malaga, so my spanish neighbour tells me. Oh and it's a general srike not a national one

And tomorrow is the 14th

SL its Wednesday the 14th April.
I dont know if this has anything to do with it,but my sons teachers arent at school today~they are striking for more pay today(the 14th April)

oh i was writing late got confuddled with dates. ... oh.. so there is a strike .. is it everyone? or just certain groups?

its not affected "us", all the shops i needed this morning were open so thats ok

ok, sorry, the word national made me think it was national

Julian, not national but general, which I assume meant everyone not in the health service, fire,police, ambulance and strangely enough the post office!Everything here (except the farmacia, doctors, gasolineria and PO) has been shut all day - no bread deliveries either. Been deadly quiet!!! They're also probably going to take tomorrow off to recover from not working today!
