Just been to the doctors in Coin, Sl. It is really bad there -mud flowing all through the town from a land slip at the top. Alhaurin el Grande and Torre both have heavy rains as we drove back.

We had only 4mm overnight up the coast in Granada province. It's been dry since about 10am.

It tends to drown Malaga and then move inland before it gets here.

Here in Coin campo we've had 150mm since last night. The Rio Grande has burst its banks covering the track alongside it so we have no way of getting into Coin even if we wanted to.

There is also a new weather warning for tomorrow for a further 50mm

Just been cloudy and dampish here in Huercal Overa today.
Someone on the Arboleas forum who keeps a weather record has posted that in the last 4 months the rainfall has been 226% above average.

Your right Sitting here at home in my office with clear blue sky overhead. Something very wrong when its sunny in Dublin and cloudy and wet in marbella in mid april . The weather forecast here is for a good weekend so I'll be polishing the classic car and going for a spin.

We have had glorious weather here in Manchester for the last week, and forecast is looking good for this next week too

Beautiful sunny day here too. We had friends over for the day who have returned from Spain and had sunday lunch at the High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells. Drinks on the terrace then 3 courses inc smoked salmon, roast beef and rhubarb crumble and custard with wine, coffee and chocolates. Pianist playing in the background (refined or what?). £79 in total for four of us.

Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk due to play there soon (are they still alive?) so a return is imminent.
