So, how is the weather where you are ???

Do you have a query on how to get things done in Andalucia, where to find things, who to call? Find out by posting and hear about others experiences.

The swallows are back - at least the first pair - and our neighbour says he has heard a cuckoo for three days running, apparently a sign that the "proper" rain has finished!

Spoke to a friend in Sotogrande today, she said it was a lovely warm day. Here it was 14C and nice and blue and sunny but it rained during the night. I am bloody freezing, just back from Zanzibar last week where it was about 32C+ every day and a low of 25C. Nowhere is perfect though, the sea was really rough one day

They are moderate enough when paying through the nose. Happy and smiling people. Not knowing much Arabic they could have been calling us English pigs when the served up our lobster

Sounds like a Scottish Highland hotel (apart from the Arabic of course).

I lived for a little while in the north west of Scotland. The then keeper of the Dundonnel estate taught his dog to growl when he heard the word Sassenach. When he was out with English shooting parties they would inevitably ask the dog's name and he would tell them Sassenach. I don't think they ever worked out why the dog didn't like them

Sid

I made an error. It was eltiempo.es I was on. I'll go with the AEMET as it's better weather there!
I was looking at http://www.eltiempo.es/frigiliana.html?v=por_hora

No, you didn't make the error - they did!

I like El tiempo for the way they present the weather but sometimes it is way out compared to the major sources of weather info.

They said it would rain all day today - wrong!

That said, we are in for an unsettled period for the next week and none of the forecasts will be much good as it will be very variable. It is definitely going to be colder than last week!

Up here in the north the forcast is always different depending which channel you are watching. Wouldn´t it be nice if you could choose the one you prefer.
By the way, pouring down here.
