Semana Santo & the burqa ban in Coín

Postby annfoto » Sat Apr 16, 2011 4:51 pm

Is it fair that the Brotherhood can parade around the town wearing hoods over their heads dressed in a male version of the burqa when the weararing of such a garment in public places by women was outlawed last year?
Admittedly it is only for 3 days but it is still a bit spooky

They're only wearing it in a parade & take it off at the end. They're not wearing it in the bank, on the aeroplane or 24/7 , so you have no idea what they're up to.

I would vote to ban the burka everywhere, I find it quite intimidating and do not like the fact that you can not read the facil expressions of thoses wearing them. When in Rome ...

I would find a suicide bomber in a burka a lot more scary :(
No soporto ver la casa sucia, ahora mismo me levanto y apago la luz.

I'd also ban "hoodies".
