merchant bank account

Hi we are a legal business and would like to take payments over the phone by credit card. I have been searching for a merchant bank account that offers a good deal. Is anyone out there using one with reasonable terms

From my own experience and reading on other forums it will be v.difficult if not impossible to achieve this now in Spain............... too many crooks have spoilt it for the rest of us.

Hi most banks offer this by way of a wireless machine but I´m wondering if anyone has an account and how mcuh they are paying for it

hi metal monkey we recently enquired about this but in the uk, barclays was one of the best, they have branches in spain and gib, try them . we also liked costcos option but not sure if they are in spain.

thanks for the info. Our guests didn´t like having to sign up for a paypal account to pay money...we have had this and it worked ok for some people

I have a card machine supplied by Cajamar bank, and it is linked to my business account. It is portable and works off GPS. They charge me 0.65% per transaction. If I take a payment today it is in my account the following morning.
