Current value of lock up garage
Hi

Many Thanks

Re: Current value of lock up garage
That, I would say, would vary considerably on where in Spain the garage is, and whether or not it is in the campo, a village, a town or a city.

It would be on the coast east of Malaga in the basement of a block of apartments.

That's a useful site.

Hi Stoker
As you can see from the site that Mowser showed that prices vary a lot.
That is why, when asking a question, it is important to say what area you are asking about.
Handy, also, if you show in your profile whir in Spain you live.
Cheers

Re: Current value of lock up garage
Last year we had buyers for our Frigiliana apartment until they clocked the parking situation which, while not as bad as Nerja, can be difficult.
They decided that they wanted garage space and knocked the required 12,000 € off their offer.
I still own an apartment in Frigiliana !
EDIT :Point I was clumsily trying to make was it depends where you want your garage

Stoker - you don't mean the garage for sale just behind Bar Granada?

Never mind the tree-huugers laws about new buildings having solar power - there should be no building permits for anything without adequate car parking included!

Re: Current value of lock up garage
Lock ups in Frigiliana are being advertised at €20,000 and a space for €12,000. Neither are selling so you could probably get a lock up for €16,000 and a space for €10,000.
FWIW, looking at parking in Frigi I reckon garages are a better investment than apartments. The situation is becoming more and more difficult - and that's with many apartments not yet sold. i guess the situation may ease IF the blooming multistory car park opens again but is that a flock of pigs I see flying across the sky......

The town hall in Frigiliana is asking the bank that holds the mortgage, if they can get the car park open for Semana Santa.

i wonder how much its going for. i´d buy it and do parking at 2,50 / day or something. i imagine, with running it myself, paying autonomo, maintainance... it´d only be a few years till it paid for itself and made a profit

Re: Current value of lock up garage
We are trying to sell our Villa in Nerja but not having any success. We have a good sized garage - maybe we should be advertising "Garage for Sale" rather than a Villa as they seem to be in more demand!!!
