What period does IBI cover

What period does IBI cover

Hi All,

We have the IBI which needs to be paid by the 20th of Aug.

Stupid question but what period does the IBI actually cover? is it 1st Jan to 31st Dec? The reason that I ask is that it is marked Periodo/Año Deveno: JULIO. Could this mean 1st Aug to 31 July?

In our neck of the woods, Marbella, it'sthe calendar year, Jan to Dec. Not sure about anywhere else but I'm pretty sure it will be the same wherever.

Welcome to the forum.
It would be useful if you fill in on your profile where in Spain you live as often a reply can depend very much on where you live.
Anyway, back to your question, in the area I live it's Jan 1st to Dec 31st.
On mine it says Periodo/Año Deveno:R-ANO-2012
