where to buy this or similar

Postby gilesc » Thu Jan 10, 2013 4:16 pm

Hello,
I need to disguise a sofa and chair in our rented house.
So I need extra large throws, like the example in the link below.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cotton-Extra-Se ... 100&sr=1-1

Any idea where I can source this type of throw. Amazon .es don't have them which is a pity. We live in Nerja but I can get to Malaga/Velez-Malaga easily by bus.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Carolyn

There is a bloke that frequents Torrox Costa market (Mondays) and therefore some of the others (I know not Frigiliana for instance) who sells throws in at least two sizes. The smaller one is 10€ I think. Senior Management is out at present, otherwise I would know.

If you can't find what you want, the Telas shop at San Julian (near Leroy Merlin - on No 10 bus route from Malaga) have lots of 280cm wide fabric, so you could just turn ends in. Most of it is 12 euros per metre.

I bought mine on VIcar Sunday market, if you fancy a run out one day you could go there, big market and easy to find.
No soporto ver la casa sucia, ahora mismo me levanto y apago la luz.

We have recently bought a new sofa and my wife also bought some new throws. One was from Amazon and another 2 were from Zara home. The fourth was from Cath Kidston .

Ikea do loads but the ones I bought are 'Fabrina'. Only comes in 3 colours and 2 sizes but they wash and dry easily and don't hold dog hair.
You can spend, minutes, hours, days, weeks or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could've, would've happened - or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move the f**k on.

I always used to buy mine from the larger 'lookie lookie' shops!!!! Double or single-sized cotton bedspreads.... VERY hardwearing, easy to wash/dry and very attractive......around 14 or 15e each......
