Hi

After reading your wonderful guidance notes I have managed to produce and complete the Form 210.

However, in the guidance notes it mentions that the anagrama is not produced and that you should take a label bearing the code or make a note of it. Can anyone tell me where I can find this code ?

It is pertinent because last year I produced the 210 Form after following your guidance notes and took it to my bank for payment but their scanner couldn't read the bar code. In the end I had to ask my lawyer to pay the tax and her bill was not cheap.

Many thanks

You will find your anagrama on the self adhesive labels that had to be attached to the old form 210 in the past. If you do not have any apply for them here:

https://aeat.es/etidomic.html

In order to get the best chance of the bar code reader working print out your forms in the highest quality print and if it will not work on the first copy ask the bank to try the other copies. Some banks are able to work around the requirement for the anagrama.

Bear in mind that it is only required if the bar code reader will not read the code.

There is another method of generating the anagrama but it should only be used as a last resort and I am not going to describe the procedure in the open forum as I am not sure if AEAT would approve.

Beachcomber

many thanks for your reply

My lawyer previously processed the old 210 forms for me and she has advised that they no longer have these details so I am unsure whether the link you gave me to aeat would prompt them to send details of my existing anagrama/a new anagrama/advice that I already have been issued with an anagrama

I also note that when I clicked on the link it only asked me for my NIE and name. It didn't ask for contact details, so I don't know which address it will respond to.

many thanks once again for your help.

Hi Richard,
If the Form 210 doesn't scan in your Bank take it to another and pay cash.

Do a head clean on your printer.

The link is simply a request for a supply of labels which show the anagrama and which would be sent to the address with which you are registered with AEAT. The bar code still has to be read even if you pay cash but Enrique's advice of trying another bank is a good idea. If you are paying cash you are not limited to your own bank.

I reiterate that the anagrama is only required if the bar code reader will not work and the details have to be entered manually.

If all else fails call at your local tax office with your ID and NIE number and ask for a supply of labels.

I have just noticed that you mentioned that your lawyer processed the old 210 forms for you. It was a requirement that the labels had to be attached to these forms. Do you have the copies of these tax returns on the old style form? The anagrama will be shown on the labels. It comprises of the first three letters of your surname and a control letter which is obtained by applying an algorithm to your name. The anagrama will not change.

Many thanks for your replies and advice.

Unfortunately the scanned copies of the old 210 forms that my lawyer sent me do not contain the labels.

However having got this far with all your help I am determined to press on. I have printed the forms on a good quality printer (black and white) and will try a different bank from the one that I tried last year

Many thanks once again

Hi winniesmum,
That sounds like you're trying to pay online to your bank account. Your bank account will need to be able to process this NRC online. :?:

If you're going to take the form to a bank and pay no need to fill this bit in.

The Payment Section will be ticked "in cash" for the above.

Hi Enrique,

Thanks for such a prompt reply.

It was IE that was the trouble

I tried again using Chrome and had the option of paying cash which wasn't given in IE.

All printed off now and ready to come to Spain with me next week :D

Thanks again

Hi Enrique,

I was using IE8 with Windows XP.

I usually avoid using Chrome but it's gone up in my estimation

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I was celebrating getting it done

OK, I know I've seen this somewhere, but I'm bu**ered if I can find it...

Filled in my 210 online, no probs, took about 5 mins to do both, validated & printed :D but now I can't find out how to pay

I have my digital certs, and I'm sure I followed a link or something last year, because that time I got as far as the bank not recognising our ID (they had passport rather than NIE, which has now been sorted), but I can't seem to find a link anywhere - helpppp !

Hi Enrique

Yes, I remember that post, but pengwynne was doing it 'the other way round' to the way I want to do it - she(?) prepaid via the bank, but I want the link for AEAT to take it from my bank ! In that thread I said that I had got as far as paying, but the bank details didn't match. I now want to get to that part of the AEAT site because the details will now match !

So, I have filled in modelo 210; validated it, saved it and printed it - how do I get to the paying section....??

Thanks Beach - that's exactly what I needed :D  It is now safely in my Favourites , and a copy of the link in my 'Renta Instructions' file

I've now paid both my & hubby's Renta for 2012, and have the certificates to prove it :) .
I did hubby's first, and was in a bit of a rush, so only printed it & forgot to save it as a pdf file. Is there anyway of getting this back ? I tried a couple of things, but didn't want to risk messing up what I'd already done :lolno:
