Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
Has anyone encountered and solved the following error when trying to setup a direct debet:
"7110 - Domiciliación: - Error en el modelo domiciliado. No existe el modelo domiciliado. Registro Nº 1"
"7110 - Direct debit of the amount to deposit: - Error en el modelo domiciliado. No existe el modelo domiciliado. Record no. 1"
It worked flawless last year.

I found the solution my self.
Just click on "Validar" or "Validate" and the error disappears.

Hi Alicante,
Until Beachcomber arrives on the scene ...........
Putting your Error into AEAT search comes up with..............and a Google translation.......
Error: Wrong registration number Registration number does not exist Tax Agency Error: Wrong registration number Registration number does not exist If you get the message Wrong registration number Registration number does not exist, check the completion of the declaration, specifically in the Settlement section , in the column Number of ...
Initially I'd clear cookies and cache from your Browser for the site ..... reboot and then try again.......... if it fails in one Browser try another of the supported Browsers.
AEAT seems to lag behind on the versions of Browsers they support ..... check with them.
This is an example..............of Firefox requirements

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
I was able to generate a pdf but it would not load a saved file. Enrique has double checked for me and gets the same error.
Edit 12:41
I have checked with AEAT IT and the operator confirms that there is currently a problem with the form 210 when trying to import saved data and to try again after 3pm.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
Yes, as promised it is back up and running but with some subtle changes.
The main one would appear to be that if the percentage entered in box 21 does not correspond with the declarant's fiscal residence an error message will be shown. I don't think this was the case before. I would guess that this is to ensure that UK fiscal residents pay their tax at a rate of 24% after 1st January 2021 and to save AEAT checking individual declarations to ensure that they have done so.
I will go through the form more thoroughly when I have the time to see if there are any other changes but if anyone else notices anything please post here. I will then update the FAQ accordingly.
Thank you for your help, Enrique.
I also suggested the possibility of linking the box containing the referencia catastral to box 4 so that it would access the valor catastral and the percentage payable and calculate the taxable base (box 4) automatically. The operator said she would pass this on but didn't sound very hopeful.

Acronyms, acronyms! What does NRC stand for? It is mentioned several times in this and other threads on the forum, but I can't find it spelled out anywhere.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
First post of 2021?
Happy New Year everyone, wishing you and your loved ones to be well and healthy in 2021!
I hope you all ate your grapes for the 12 bells and your lentils on New Year's day!
It's that time of the year again and I have a quick question: does anybody know how to process an invoice (less than €200) that should have been deducted from the rental income of tax year 2019 (and the return has been submitted and tax already paid of course) but only came to light yesterday - can I stick it against the income of 2020 of is that too bad/too late?
Many thanks,
C

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
I submitted Modelo 210 online on 27th December, with IBAN of our Spanish bank account. It all seemed to have worked smoothly (compared to previous years). However, the tax has not been deducted from our bank account. I called the Agencia Tributaria (I speak Spanish, so language is not an issue) but was on hold for about 10 minutes, and then was cut off, without getting through to anyone. Any ideas as to what I should do next?

Hi elizabennett.
It can take some time to get back to the bank to get the amount deducted.
Had you gone the NRC route it comes out straight away at Bank but takes some time to register on AEAT site.

Thanks Enrique, I tried the AEAT site. Registration for AEAT looks complicated! I've sent an email to the bank. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
Hi elizabennett,
To access the AEAT sites you need a Digital Signature (DS) or CL@ve PIN. Some sections need Digital Signature only.
To get a Digital Signature you would need to be in Spain and go to a designated Office for one part of the Procedure. Once you have a DS you can use it to obtain a CL@ve PIN . You can get a Letter for CL@ve PIN , I've not been down this route to get limited access to AEAT sites.
From...........
https://www.agenciatributaria.gob.es/AE ... ntes.shtml
In "normal" times it was very quick to get a DS..........Gerry holds the record at 2hrs,,,,,,,,,I slept halfway through so took a few hours longer.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
Bit early to be thinking about paying this yet, and hopefully this year, I will be able to present the forms to the bank myself.
However, is the 19% element good for 2020 ?

Hi anyroads,
Beachcomber will confirm correct rate......at the moment I'm for 19% as we were still sort of in EU.

Thanks Enrique.
Do not usually pay this until September ( in person hopefully this year ), so some time to play with.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax
I have tripled checked this by calling the AEAT helpline twice on different days and checking with a gestor with whom I have a good working relationship.
The rate for non-resident imputed tax being declared in 2021 for 2020 is 19%. In 2022 (assuming we make it to then) the rate for 2021 will be 24%.
The rate for actual rental income declared on a quarterly basis for 2021 is obviously 24% as is the non-resident fixed rate for capital gains tax.

Thanks Beachcomber.
Have noted the increase for "2021" to 24% also. Guess it had to go up sometime !
