I hope this is an appropriate forum to be posting this query.
I'm looking for voluntary work in or near to La Herradura. I don't want to simply drift through the days enjoying the wonders of the place (although there's nothing wrong with that), but rather I'd like to find something to do that allows me to make a positive contribution and, who knows, maybe improve my Spanish at the same time.
I'm a retired teacher of English (secondary, 11 - 18).
I was a Head of Year.
I was a volunteer in a Citizens Advice Bureau, and then employed as a Volunteer Support Worker, guiding trainee advisers through their training.
I imagine I could find some inspiration by asking round amongst Spanish friends in the village, but I thought I'd also put it out here in case there's anyone who has some inspiration of their own

I don't know if theyre active in herradura but Red Cross are always looking for volunteers. My last contact was with them in Velez Malaga.
