Has anything changed in the law or rules for health care for under 65's. Somebody told they thought they read something in the paper. Thanks

Do you mean the Convenio Especial which means that people not receiving the state pension can pay 60 euros a month into the Spanish NHS , which will cover all their health care , but not prescription costs?
Now, with the pension age extended it will also apply to people over 65 in the future.
Over 65s pay 157 euros a month( i think)

If you were a tax resident before October (2012 I think), you can be put on the Spanish system at no cost.
Some ex-pats who were under the radar lost out on this.

Lots of info on this website http://citizensadvice.org.es/
