Non-working dishwasher

Postby Campo Steve » Sat Jun 06, 2015 7:06 pm

Can anyone recommend anyone that can diagnose and, hopefully, repair a dishwasher that has stopped working? We've checked the waste aand water inlet pipes aren't blocked.

As far as I know the power supply is up to spec. A flashing light on the fromt indicatsthe faucet is turned off. Although our town water supply has gone off water is being supplid from the deposito. Filters on the pipe ern't called up . Maybe cal in the workings of the system but would llike someone who knows what he is doing and what to look for and can sort it. Don't want to buy a new one if it is fixable for a cheaper price

I usually find buying her something nice gets the service restored - though I have never dared to try close examination of her inlet and waste pipes! If it is cal, go easy on the Agua Fuerte...

Many dishwashers have a hidden RESET on them, look for a strange mark below the controls and press BOTH together (or google reset and your make of dishwasher), first time we found this out was when the Tecnico walked in looked at it and pressed the two buttons, hey presto it worked and he walked out with 50 euros smiling away!!! We have used te reset a few times since then, its a fail safe after those tiny power blips apparently - ours was a Bosch

Hi Campo Steve,

I take it that was a typo............Ecesa.........==....Edesa......... :?:

If you can't find the manual at home..........get the model Type and they are on-line.
Has it a Display, if not they Bleep for error codes.

Page 70 gives info.....................Trouble shooting.

Found the user instructions but no mention of how to do a reset, although it does say that the start button is also reset but not how to do it. Not a lot of point at the moment as our water supply iso off! unfortunately our deposito is also empty. Ayuntamiento is hopefully delivering 3000litres of water today. We'll see if that happens. Dishwashers not much use without water!
