King size matress

Can anyone post details of stores along the coast that sell king size mattresses , I was told Yorkshire Linen did them but none listed on their website . Anywhere between Velez and Fungorola would be good .

I would try this one in Torre del Mar - they may not have the size you want in stock but would order it for you and deliver.

You have so many choices. There are about 10 mattress shops in VelezMalaga that I know. If you know Velez very reasonably priced one in the alleyway by the Taxi Rank.

Thats great thanks all for your help , we are in Sedella so Torre / Velez will be our start , we did try Buffalo but they have stopped doing furniture /bedding. Most shops seem to sell doubles but not Kingsize , even Ikea in Malaga dont list them .

Check the length as well as the width - Spanish ones tend to be shorter....

IKEA have their own sizes, so their king size is 160 rather than 150. With a quick look they have got some 150s but some are only 190 as Peter says, rather than the uk 200cm long. We've found that most bed places will order the size you want.

Thanks again , we tried Conforma (the one near Ikea ) last year ,no luck. I have looked at Micolchon web site and the list (stock ? ) 20 kingsize ranging from 200/220 x 150/165 , also I enquired on Beds Nerja facebook page and they confirm they stock them.

Many thanks for your reply ( and PM ) , will certainly take a look , there is no particular rush as we have been sleeping on a double mattress on a king size frame for the last 3 years (house used for 3 or 4 months pa.)

Has anyone got an Ikea mattress as I need a new one and was thinking of getting one of theirs. Hope they are better quality than the sofa we bought from there. We did stay in a cortijo in Tenerife last year that appeared to be totally furnished from Ikea and the mattress on the bed was lovely. I should have had a look at the label!
