Apartment without 1st occupation licence

Hi everyone

I want to rent my apartment this summer but need to apply for the tourist rentals licence. Prob is the apartment was built about 17 years ago and doesn’t have a licence of first off. Any way around this?

So is it an illegal build? What area?

Malaga province - illegal no, just the developer ended up bankrupt and things weren’t tied up when they should have been. The Spanish owners don’t seem bothered so haven’t done anything about it but for tourist rentals I worry it may present a problem

More than "a problem". You will not be able to rent it without a LFO.
