Dishwasher under Warranty

Our Dishwasher (Whirlpool 6th Sense) bought locally at a large electical goods retailer in town has just stopped and alarm sounded and showed up a Failure Code associated with water heating. It is just 9 months old. I am going back to shop on Monday with receipt and just wondering what I should expect? Will they get a Tech sent out to repair or will/should they replace machine anyone any experience of similar.

When our washing machine failed under warranty a tech was sent out to repair it.

They will know whats wrong from the fault code. They will then send an engineer out with the part to fix it.
