Water bills

Postby elusive » Tue Jul 21, 2020 12:04 pm

Our bills have always been around €30 a quarter for three people. But our last two bills from jan-june have been over double that. No obvious leaks etc. Just wondering what others are paying. Looking at older bills in the breakdown is gives consumption of under €2 euros for three months which seems ridiculously low. So wondering if we have been under charged for along time? (Cant really imagine) also when we filled our pool which is only small last year the water bill was no different which was odd aswell.(pool wasnt emptied this year) Makes me wonder if theyve added on last summers pool filling. Cant really imagine that either our landlord sent us her bill by accident last month and it was the same price we normally pay. Maybe shes been sending us her bill for years!

Ours have always been around the €30 for two months mark, for two people, and we don't have a pool. The bills have stayed the same for years, so yours do look to have been very low if they're for 3 months for a household of 3.

We are starting to wonder if shes been sending us her bills! Asked next doors and their last one was 75 for two ppl although they do alot of terrace cleaning. Another apartment they rent out was around 25 for two.

Could they be low because they have estimated them during the lockdown. They may assume its a rental and empty and adjust it later once read.

it could be like the electric bills - a very low estimate, then a very high real reading?
