What should I do next?

Postby telboy » Fri Jul 31, 2020 11:50 am

On 28 June ordered a sofa online with free delivery 5 to 7 business days, 25 business days on I have no sofa nor any feedback from the company.

Their contact number is (+34) 800 80 83 96 on calling this it immediately without ringing goes to a recorded message stating that I should email them using [email protected] Initially I was getting a automated (email) response but over the last two weeks I’ve had no response whatsoever by email. There is no other business telephone number, their address is below.

What should I do next or am I chasing a lost cause?
Is it a scam?

Posts seem to be in Portuguese?? Google the name and a few complaints come up as people have not received their orders.

Try your bank. Even if you paid by Debit card, if it's Visa or Mastercard Debit card you should be able to make a claim as the goods have not arrived. (I have just done this for my lost cruise deposit, presumably Spanish banks are covered by the same rules.)

Cheers guys

Yes it looks like I've been scammed and many other people too. I thought it was too good to be true, 100€ inc delivery for a sofa bed, sometimes genuine items are sold off (end of line, over stock) at ridiculous prices never thought of researching the company first. OK 100€ is not a fantastic amount of money but the majority of their products on offer are iPhones, TVs etc so some folk may have lost up to 700€. 2 weeks after my purchase they even had the cheek to offer me a 5€ off voucher on my next purchase.

I'll call in at my Spanish bank however I paid by Debit Card.

Thanks for the links

terry
