Bogus Gas Inspectors - Again!!!

Postby telboy » Wed Sep 30, 2020 12:20 pm

They are at it again in the Antequera area says the local news rag. Beware!!!

We were conned many years ago to the by the same conmen to tune of €280, our neighbours €690, they look official in logoed uniform, full colour paperwork and use a credit card reader to instantly take payment. They use scare tactics and state that the Junta will visiting in the next couple of weeks and will impose a hefty fine if appliances don't comply.

Advice - Don't invite them into your property and request that they telephone you to make an appointment for an inspection, that was a sure way to send them packing.

Even simpler, tell them you are all electric and have no gas.

Or point a camera at them and their vehicle.
