Firewood

Postby Lyric » Sun Nov 22, 2020 5:02 pm

As we remain confined to our municipality until December 10th at the earliest can anyone advise a wood yard within Torrox that will supply only logs.

My fire will not burn the root that is available at the only yard I know (El Rubio)

I know I can and do get only logs but that yard is in Velez.

In the meantime it's crank up the a/c

Try 952 526 374. 651 311 108

He is the old donkey sanctuary in Nerja. He will deliver exactly what you want. We have used him for years.

Do you use Lola's, Lyric, next to the 24hr vets? They deliver I think. I thought I had their number somewhere but cannot find it now, so not much help!

Yes, nice logs. I only discovered him recently but he will supply exactly what I want/need. My fire is faulty, I think it's the flue and it just will not burn the root that the locals want to sell. El Rubio has a great stack of logs under cover but won't sell them.

We've been using them for many years and the price has never gone up. Due to lack of space we collect a couple of barrowloads in the car when we need it. I've not had a fireplace that burns root well, it just smoulders. They sometimes sell other wood, like Holme oak or Algarrobo, but we've found their olive the best. Still can't find their number, sorry.
