Certificate for proof of Covid vaccination

Postby farmgirl » Mon Jun 07, 2021 8:48 am

I had my vaccination last week but wasn’t given any paperwork as proof. Friends in the UK have paperwork showing when, batch number, type etc. Can I get this? I’m concerned if they introduce mandatory proof for travel in the future. Thanks
Elaine

Hi farmgirl,

Looks like you will get Certificate when Spain joins in the EU Vaccine Passport .............

probabaly the same in Andalucia - In Murcia you can apply for a certificate at your local health centre. Ask for a Certificado de Datos Vacunales.
Don’t expect the information to be accurate though: demonstrating the usual incompetence in Spain, my record showed only my first jab, on the 9th April (4/9/2021). My partner’s record showed her first jab, again 4/9/2021) and a second jab on the 4th May - shown as 4/5/2021 rather than 5/4/2021!.
I should not be surprised that two people use two different ways of showing a date, I suppose.
Checking today both of us are shown as ‘no vaccunation’ !
And people wonder why I am fed up to the back teeth with this third world country and want to go back to England..!

If you think England is going to be more efficiently run than here then I think you're in for a shock. Certainly GP wise, we are far better off here with telephone appointments available the next day. My poor old FIL can't ever get through to his surgery and never get an appointment. He's ended up going private to see a doctor.

Well at least if a government webpage shows a date of 4th May 2021 it will be written in numerals as 4/5/2021, and not some of it one way and some another!
If donkeys' hooves could fit on keyboards they would do better...

Juanma Moreno has announced today that starting today, all those in Andalucia aged 65 or over who have received two doses of the vaccine will receive a vaccine certificate (valid within the EU) through the post to their home address. Younger people will need to access the certificate via the ClicSalud website or Salud Andalucia app.

We have no problems in receiving mail, but it will be a problem for anyone who may have moved house since they registered with their centro de salud and may not have updated their records.

Don’t judge the whole of the UK by one example. We can get telephone appointments the same day. No that I think they are acceptable as we should be back to normal service but not as bad nationwide at least not in my area.

Ours is pretty bad. I put it down to a tiny garage used as a p.office for thousands of people. Totally understaffed and thats if the letters even get that far. Lost count of the amount lost in the posts and had to be resent several times before i received them

The new EU certificates are now available from the Salud site. They are different from the ones that were previously available.

Predictably just now "printing unavailable at the moment due to a technical error". I guess the facility is swamped.

It's working again now. I also managed a download for my wife who has had just one AZ jab so far.
