Ikea Malaga

Ikea Seville is just outside the west side of the city on the Sevilla-Huelva road near the Bormujos district.

If you're arriving by train, its probably best to get a taxi from the station.

The Ikea website also suggests the following buses -
Autobuses que salen de la Estación de Plaza de Armas y dejan junto a IKEA Sevilla.
-Parada en c/Real (Castilleja de la Cuesta): 103-160-252-260-261-262
-Parada en c/Pablo Picasso (Tomares): 161
-Parada en rotonda Sta. Eufemia (Tomares): 103-161-164-250

If travelling by car from the A92, get onto the SE30 ringroad, go across the large suspension bridge by the docks and keep heading towards Huelva.

I recommend the Menu del Dia in the Ikea restaurant - good value !

Just downloaded the 2007 Ikea catalogue, and the store directory shows Malaga as open 'segundo semestre de 2007'.
It won't be long now.......drop herself of at Ikea and head down to La Rosaleda!

Planning Permission has defiantly been given for the Malaga one, it is due to go next to Plaza Mayor.

so thats what the big cleared bit of land is for between the airport turn off and plaza meyor!!!

In the Sur the other week the development mgr for Spain said the Malaga store is planned for mid 2007 with Estepona a possible second location on the CDS 4 year later

I passed the Plaza de Mayor the other day and there is a huge building being constructed there, I was told that it was the new Ikea due to open at the end of the year!

You are correct, but they still haven't managed to satisfy the planners (pay enough money?) so seem to have started anyway...who can blame them?
