Please does anyone have any idea if next weeks proposed strike in France will once again bring total disruption to Spanish bound flights from the UK

Most UK-Spain flights would be re-routed over Oceanic airspace. This may cause some delays but should not be too bad. IMHO !

I don't know about total disruption. My flight back from Alicante
to Gatwick (Monarch) was delayed by 1 hour last night due to french
ATC strikes. It was routed over france as usual, according to the pilot.

Flights to other UK destinations seemed to be similarly delayed, but
the flights to germany appeared to be scheduled as normal, with no
delays showing up on the depature board.
