Second Hand Books

Postby katy » Wed Aug 16, 2006 10:49 am

Does anyone know of a second hand bookshop preferably near marbella? The shop I used was closed after the fire at El Zoco, calahonda.

What about the public library at the top end of the park in Benalmadena.

Not exactly Marbella, but there are 2 in central Fuengirola. One in the market opposite the train station, and one in Las Rampas (not sure if that is right, but the little alley next to Dunnes in central Fuengirola).

Also one in that line of Brit stores in the road into Alhaurin el Grande.

Katy,

There is also an English bookshop in Los Boliches - road between Avenida Los Boliches and Paseo Maritimo - sorry, can't recall the name but pretty close to the Sweetie Shop :-)

As I said on another thread -

I don't know where you are. But the English Book Shop in Sabanillas is great for used books and buying them back later. :)

In Sabanillas - on main road.
Get off the A340 before it goes down and under a cross street. Go straight across the cross street. The English Book Shop is on the right , the second (I think) exit.
If you pass the Mercadona, you have gone past it.

I own the Riviera Coffee Shop in Fuengirola, Calle Galvez Guinachero, near the new underground car-park. We have a selection of second-hand books that can be exchanged free of charge. Most times we have a fairly good selection, please feel free to come down and browse.
Thanks, Sharon

Aside from the ones already mentioned , I tend to use Julians Bookshop in Fuengirola. Excellent selection and well laid out.

It is almost opposite the post office just off the church square.

Marbella municipal library does a limited amount of english books. I´m about to donate a few of mine to them.
