BA are finishing flying into Seville from Gatwick on 28th October. The lady at the desk says that someone else will be taking over the route, but does not know who. Do you?

I know that Iberia flies that route in November, but don't know of any others.
Since I gave up hope I feel much better!

Shukran- you say that you know that IBERIA flies Gatwick to Seville in November but don't you mean that this is an indirect flight via Madrid. ? Or do you know something we don't? You can fly direct from heathrow to Seville using IBERIA.

Yes, they're via Madrid. The original question didn't mention direct or indirect flights.

Thanks Shukran. The BA flight (operated by GB Airways) was direct from Gatwick. Clearly the best way to travel. Iberia have always had the Madrid-Seville route throughout the year. Whether the DIRECT route from Gatwick to Seville will ever be restored - goodness only knows.

Thanks for that info Nige - I always presume, incorrectly sometimes, that these flights are direct. I'll keep my eyes open for anymore info.

Just an aside from this Gibraltar, Spain and the UK are signing an agreement today allowing for joint use of the airport in Gibraltar.
