Martin - you still come across as a bit of a selfish and c o c k y b*****. Paying taxes, having car insurance, and obeying laws generally could in a way be said to be no advantage to me, but is simply the way that any responsible and decent citizen should behave. Anything less and it is a form of anarchy. Maybe at school you were the stroppy little boy in the corner shouting "Shan't!!" - the difference is the rest of us have grown up and accepted responsibilities as members of society

I am NOT Spanish - and never will be

Im British - with a Spanish attitude and way of life - and arguably an illegal Inhabitant - ¡es me igual!

my gosh, there are a lot of very moral and law-abiding Brits living down in Andalucia now! ... maybe individuals choose which laws they want to abide by ... I seem to remember one of the respondents on this thread admitting to walking his dog on the beach although he knew it was against the law!

Sounds like a dodgy Greek brandy, but it sure fools the www.wordreference.com idiot's guide that I use!

hmmmmmmmmmmmm
is this man to be trusted???????
Years ago, I was at a dinner, with two of the world's top motorcyclists amongst the top table - Mike Hailwood and Giacomo Agostini. At that time "Ago" did not have a great command of English, so Mike was being helpful and teaching him useful phrases. Ag had just got the hang of one used when expressing some surprise, and involving fornication with old riding footwear, when there was one of those lulls in everyone's conversation that happen at such dos, so we entertained by a loud Italian rendition of "F**k my old boots!"
