Hi there, do any of you out there know if the shops are open in Gib next week 6th and 8th, or do they close the spanish holidays?Thanks

We went on the last Spanish Holiday and all was open...so we are going again on the 6th so I hope it will be open!

Just a note to some of our members - Gibraltar has its own government, it is not a resort on the Costa del Sol, and does not adopt Spanish law, currency, festivals or customs!
I think that there is some historical reason for this. :roll:

But do bear in mind that most (many) places are closed Saturday - the Jewish Sabbath, so I believe. Well, I don't believe - but what's more important, is that they do. :?

Most of the Electrical/Camera shops seem to be run by Pakistanis now!

Yeah, you can buy any amount of Pentaxes and Toshibas!
'bout time Spain had some entrepreneurial folk like that. Few more 7-11s other than the criminally expensive OpenCor.

Sacorellis sell thorntons chocolates and I may have seen them in Morrisons.
