We live in Bobadilla which is not far from Alcaudete and we had our house done by Spainish builders, the do a fair amount of work locally and they were good, also didn;t ask for payment until most of work done which was about 39,000 euros intotal - if you want more info give me your email and I will forward details

I know of several excellent british builders whom I would recommend, sadly though none of them live in Spain, are there any good (as in honest) british builders in Spain?

British builders?

Postby Markymark » Thu Jan 25, 2007 1:27 pm

Wy British necessarily? Why not local businesses? Some speak English & in my experience don't charge as much!!

He's in real Spain, 1 1/2 hours from the British Costa Zone.
Believe me, only one Spanish person in Alcaudete speaks English.

Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated into the collective

How lucky is he!! I wish I could say the same in Alhaurin... I have had more attempts of being ripped off by Brits here than you can imagine, I wish I lived in "Real Spain" too... if only...

We are lucky enough to know a brilliant builder {leeds boy}. :P He has done a lot of work for us and others in the general Cortes area.
Superb work, real perfectionist and at a fair price.
Send me a pm if you want his details :!:

For Information: I know a great building company who are friendly and reliable. They are called Building Project Solutions. I reccomend them highly after they completed various new and reform building works for me. Thanks.
