Hi JK, you can't change that, its all dependant on how posts or comments on posts you have left... it's like the more you contribute the higher your ranking!

Thanks, I only want to change my status from tourist to resident, nothing more, the present information is not correct.

Thanks Jk.

You could add a tag line to your posts or make and upload an avatar which reflects your status. I think that, when you reach fifty posts, you will become a resident.

Beachcomber is right. 50 is the magic number when you change from tourist to resident.

Many thanks, I thought it was your residential status, my mistake, not by the number of posts.

the present information is not correct.
It is not information as I am certainly not a guru. It is merely this forum's way of classifying the number of posts someone has made.

To the majority of people it doesn't matter in the slightest annie, nor should it.
Well said.

I don't think for a minute that JK was asking for any other reason than that he is an actual resident of Spain and thought he needed to clarify the point. :)

Perhaps when someone gets to 2000 posts it ought to say 'Should get out more' :D

I must say Beachcomber when you hit 2500 postings I was hoping for a transcendental moment. Can it be that there is nowhere else to strive for after achieving guruhood?

After what has happened in Devon, perhaps he should change his name.
