Christmas turkey

Shopping in Mecadonna on New Years Eve I spotted some small fresh turkeys. Does anyone know if there were any there before Christmas?
I always order a turkey from our local Dia. Don't get me wrong they are super turkeys but always at least 5 kilos which is much too big for the two of us, even though I do freeze half of it for Easter. It would be much better if I could wait and buy a smaller one but would like to confirm they are available before risking not ordering one.

Don't know about Mercadona but both Eroski and Carrefour had fresh turkeys in before Xmas.
