Non Alcoholic Beer
During the recent spell of very hot weather in the UK, as well as normal beer, I have been having the occasional non alcoholic beer, usually Becks Blue, Cobra.
I do remember many years ago, you could get draft non alcoholic beer in some pubs. From memory it was vile and I am sure is not available in pubs these days.
Has anyone got any recommendations for Spain, or is non alcoholic beer available ?

Re: Non Alcoholic Beer
Loads of "sin alcohol"......in Spain......seems all the leading brands cover that area........
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.
Re: Non Alcoholic Beer
Plenty of "sin alcohol" beers available in cans and bottles in Spain.
One I buy from Dia is cheap and almost palatable.
Never seen "sin" beer on draft here.
I rarely drink "sin" beer, myself, I prefer water.

You can get San Miguel 0.0 on draft in a lot of places. Very tasty on a hot day. My nearest is the Road house on the Colmenar bypass.

Yes lots of bars in our area have it on draught, very popular, they still sell Kalibar and such brands in UK, but its not popular, I drink Dias own, i am told it is Mahou in the own brand bottles.

I think you mean Kaliber, which is brewed by Guinness. It is one of the originals but at 0.05% it is not actually alcohol free; but it is very nice.

Re: Non Alcoholic Beer
I have seen Cruzcampo which is part of Heineken on draught but it was more towards Seville, one of my friends drinks it and says its ok, personally i would not buy non alcoholic beer as as well as being a waste of money it is not a mans drink. I think it may have being created with girls in mind when the world in its madness allowed them to go to bars that really should be the domain of us lads and let them keep house for us. I wonder if anyone shared my opinion?
hope this helps

Oh I don't know !
On my one night a week out at my local, there are always a number of very presentable ladies on view.
The only problem is, some of them will try and sing karaoke, and it is much better that they are seen and not heard.
I do not think women are big drinkers of beer in any case, alcoholic or non alcoholic. I believe non alcoholic beer appeared about the time they were starting to tighten up on drink driving. I think Hemeling was another one available in pubs about then, but soon died a death.

Most taste a little better with a drop of lime juice, bit like the old lager and lime, or a dash of lemonade !!

Re: Non Alcoholic Beer
We like the Lidl version of sin alcohol (in small blue tins). We've tried most of the different makes but find that and the San Miguel in bottles the best. We've not had it draft, but we've never found it problem getting a bottle in a restaurant.
Re: Non Alcoholic Beer
The two I like that are generally available at most restaurants are Mahou (still has a little alcohol) and San Miguel 0.0%.
Strangely, as nasty as I find normal San Miguel to be, their 0.0% is quite nice!

Re: Non Alcoholic Beer
Right,
After some fact finding over the past week or so.
The following "sin" are, in no particular order "drinkable"
Cruzcampo
Mahon
Steinburg.
I was impressed with the range carried by Eroski, and found that my "local" which I never knew, even carried some bottles.
