Seasoning for steak.

Does anyone know what the Spanish Restaurants sprinkle on their steak before grilling to make it so tasty.

Based on taste alone i would say its garlic salt. But over to the experts.

I doubt it’s paprika. They taste neither smoky nor spicy. Definitely some sort of rub. Maybe even just good seasoning.

Have you never tasted smoked Paprika, or for that matter, Smoked Paprika Picante, which is almost as hot as Cayenne pepper?

The only well known steak seasoning that I have come across is the one from the Block House chain of steak restaurants. It is available online.

Oops. I meant the steaks don’t taste smoky or spicy - not the paprika!
