And another of my favourite topics, again , in my opinion worth reviving..

Now today my Wife has informed me that we are not having our traditional roast, we are having a Fish Pie,.....for a change.. :?

I think she is watching too many of the TV cooking programmes, still I suppose it is better for me than the DIY and property restoration programmes that she was watching...at least now I can put my tool kit away.. :lol:

So I will let you know later, how her surprise fish Pie turned out... :wink:

well...I have just had a fried egg sarnie...as my family and some friends are going out tonight for an all you can eat chinese buffet in the local village(all traditional eating for me!!)...so i wont be cooking but gorging on all the delicious chinese items layed out for my pleasure.

My husband does all the cooking here and has phases. We have had months of Spanish, Mexican, Jamaican and presently we are having a glut of......sushi. It's ok but i am ready for the next phase.

Smaller plate looking full is supposed to help you feel full faster. Wouldn't call it exotic anyway all bought at local shops.

Beans on toast............again. I may be a bit adventurous and sprinkle a bit of chese on top.........and if I'm feeling really active a blob of brown sauce. Variety is the spice of life.
