Booklet re Andalusian education system in English

Postby avellana » Sat Mar 17, 2007 9:21 am

I have been shown this booklet which may be of interest to anyone with children.
It explains the system from 0-18 years old as well as the entry process to schools. If you are interested in having a copy I will find out how to obtain them.

I haven't forgotten to get the info but I haven't been in touch with the person who got the copies in our village. Maybe next week when I'm not teaching English (I'm a TESOL teacher) I'll have time to see her!

I have found the booklet as a PDF file on the following site:-
http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/educacion/
Rather than post the direct link which is huge follow the instructions below.

Click on 'alumnado' under temáticas heading NOT the alumnado link in the orange block.

In the centre of the screen under 'alumnado', click on 'alumnado inmigrante'.

Click on the link under '25 de septiembre de 2006', click on 'Guía en Inglés'.

You now have a printable version of the booklet.

I will try and get the phone numbers to ring but in the meantime you can either print a copy of the booklet or read it on line.
