Public School Recommendation in Malaga Town

Postby r1jude » Tue Mar 03, 2015 2:22 pm

We are moving to Malaga next year and have a 6 yr old daughter who is bilingual. Area is very flexible so I would appreciate a great public school recommendation to narrow down nice areas to live in. There seems to be so much choice it is difficult to know where to start. We will be visiting in July but would like to do some research beforehad. Any help appreciated.

For anyone who may not have experience in schools in Malaga, which are the nicer areas to live in, in Malaga?

Thanks

Lot of schools in El Palo area. Depends on your budget. City centre rent is expensive.

Thanks for that. We need my daughters education to be in Spanish. We are living in Chile at the minute and she has always studied in Spanish to really don`t want her to lose that.

Do many foreigners go to the Spanish Private Schools??

Quite a few yes, I don't have any experience with public schools here but my step son moved here from Argentina when he was 8 and we sent him to a spanish private school near Malaga (not in the city). There are a couple of americans and english at his school too. I dont know how expensive private education is in Chile but in Spain I've found it substantially cheaper than anything in the UK.

Which private school would you recommend in Málaga? I know this is a difficult question but which ones have a good reputation? Thx
