Today's F 1

Postby Manchesteral » Sun Oct 24, 2021 1:13 pm

Anyone any thoughts on todays F 1 meeting in U S A, With Verstappen becoming increasingly frustrated and reckless I have a feeling that today will decide the out come of the championship this year !

Very unkind of you to comment on something most of us cannot watch until late tonight!

Why is it unkind? We are all in the same boat unless you live in the USA. If 9pm is past your bedtime you can always watch C4 in the morning.

Or sign up to DAZN. If it’s the first time, the first month is free. Personally speaking, I think the monthly coat of 9.99 euros per month is great value, especially if you like football, motor sport and boxing.

DAZN won’t make it come on earlier!

I tried DAZN but a lot of it including F1 uses a non English commentary. Also it seemed to have an annoying 3 minute countdown to everything.

I use Sky Go which is free.

There is another option.

Daily mail and possibly express offer live blogs on this event, not the same as visual of course but nevertheless real time (almost) reportage !

Yes, I will watch it on Sky go but you have to know someone to get it. DAZN is still good value though if SkyGo isn't available and if your football team isn't one of the big 6. A friend used to pay for some of the pay per view big boxing matches until I pointed out to him that they are often part of the DAZN.
F1 is about the only sport I like watching that I don't understand the technical side. Softs and other words like that mean as much as offside does to my wife,

Well, I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I'll say no more, except, Hamilton is leading the nasty Dutch guy with Perez in 3rd !!

okay, according to some of the comments here I was under the impression that it's not available, anyway as we all know Hamilton is creeping up on the nasty Dutch person as we speak !!

Great race. Lewis almost made it. It seems to me that an F1 win is now all about tyres. Still it adds extra interest. It’s still too close to call for the drivers championship. It’s going to be a great season for F1.

Tyres and pitting strategy in the latter half of the race in my view.

Anyway even though I'm no fan of Verstappen I think todays result was just, when he's not acting like a spoilt brat he can be a very effective driver, a bit unfortunate for Lewis but that's life !!

New generation coming up now. Think it may be Leclerc and Norris stepping up soon.

Don't forget Russel who will be alongside Lewis next year.

Hi I had forgot him. He always looks a bit strange, like the other two youngsters better. Will be interesting to see how they all do though :)
