I have been reading this thread with great interest (and trepidation!!),as the time has come for me to head to the hairdressers :? Princess Peach,I know from your posts that you are not that far from Gibraltar...have you tried any hairdressers there? If so, any recommendations? :)

No,i havent tried any hairdressers in Gib,i used to go back to UK for my haircuts, apart from the last disaster in a spanish one.

there is one that i have been told by numerous people to go to..i will dig out the name and number,i think its called classic cuts..

here we go.

Classic cuts,ground floor cornwalls centre, telephone 0035(might need a "0" in here)20077774.
I have been told to ask for Vanessa,i havent a clue if she still works there as this was a year or so ago.
I cannot vouch for this hairdressers being any good, its just what i have been told,so please dont blame me for any mishaps.

Oh perfect!
its located up main street, you need to turn up the left hand street opposite star of india perfume shop,go up there to the top then turn right ,you will come to a little shopping centre, the hairdressers will be facing you in the corner on the left. :D
best of luck to you.x

I've also been recommended to Vanessa at Classic Cuts. Have been cutting my own hair for a while & will carry on until the rate improves & I've got more money to spare

You shouldn't have asked for 1 and a half inches off. Had you but used the metric system I'm sure the outcome would have been different.

... but why do they all dye their hair? There are 80 year old women here with jet black hair. That can't be natural. Neither is the purple/mauve/orange colour.

Well, here I am reporting back. Had my hair cut, I explained in Spanish and lots of hand signals what I wanted and I am absolutely delighted with the result. 12 euros. I gave her a euro tip :D
