Does anybody know what the Spanish equivalent to Waxsol eardrops is?

Or recommend anything better for a bunged up ear?

Thx

My ear specialist always recommends a few drops of olive oil

Yes, olive oil is as good as anything. If not, ask in the farmacia, "unas gotas para ablandar la cera de los oídos"

Otocerum is what you need.

It an antiseptic oil which dissolves earwax. Available over the counter.

By coincedence that's what the phamacist gave us when we dropped in yesterday and showed then the waxsol box.

Hope it works as I really don't want my ears blasted with a syringe again. Never felt so much pain I thought my brains were going to come out of the opposite ear...

Thanks

don't know if it's available in Spain, but if you get the chance, try Hopi Ear candling ! It should be done by a trained (& insured ) practitioner, and it's very effective. It's also very soothing & relaxing - hubby loves it (I used to do this myself in UK)
