I cannot find the right bit but am 100% certain I have read a clarification from the Guardia Civil that only one person should go into the shop. Makes sense really, unlike some of the new rules!

Agreed, Gavilan, but people get used to things. We've just had 75 years of VE and people got used to living in war conditions. People adapt and I agree that the virus will not go away and we will have to just live with it, or not, but people get exhausted of being afraid all the time.

I think this virus will teach us to live with the unknown, the uncertain, the unfamiliar, the unpredictable ... we will have to rely on our own inner confidence to get us through ... not rely on external actions/events ...

My daughter is a nurse and today said that now at least we are prepared for a chemical attack or a pandemic caused by chemical warfare. Sobering thought indeed. Ireland today had less than 100 new infections. And we have plenty of ICU beds available. We may be slow unlocking but I think we are doing the right thing.

That is tempting fate! The powers that be are concerned that we are vulnerable to IS ( or whatever they call themselves today attack)

Surely you know the answer already. All of this is common sense not an opportunity to push the boundaries. One per shop. The more people per party, the harder it is to social distance and the longer it takes the rest of us to complete mundane tasks.

Update from friday from correo de la axarquia

The Andalusian Government has just offered the data for contagion by coronavirus in the municipalities of the Axarquía region and, overall, the number of cases continues to grow.

Rincón de la Victoria continues to be the municipality with the most positive cases since the pandemic began. In the last 24 hours, 2 people have been infected, adding to the total number (136).

Regarding Vélez-Málaga, one more contagion in the last 24 hours, which now totals 129 since this health crisis will start, with a total of 13 people dead.

Cases also increase in the municipality of Nerja, which has increased from 8 to 9 people infected since the start of the coronavirus crisis.

On the other hand, we must add the first case in the municipality of Benamargosa, which until now had no person registered with coronavirus.

Seeing all the problems with protesters in the UK, why don’t they just put them all in buses and take them into a Covid19 ward? They would not need PPE.

There were more Police than protesters! Corbyn's brother appeared to be one of the main leaders, he was arrested.

Protests in Madrid too and some riots in Germany,

Thanks for the stats, Elusive. Sanchez has extended the State of Emergency to 24th June so he's not letting up with the caution yet. Maybe he knows something we do not? Maybe!

Hes got to extend the state of alarm inorder for the phases to go through. You cant legally restrict movement etc without having one inforce so its just procedure more than anything.

A bit strong but they do seem to have some odd reasons for lifting the lockdown quicker such as the virus only affects those with underlying conditions and people over a certain age as if old people don't matter and should not be factored into the equation.

However, Isn't the a main point to all this to protect the most vulnerable but they seem to be saying that these groups are expendable.

We could have a HUGE moral discussion about the balance a society needs/wants to strike between protecting the old, ill and vulnerable and allowing young people to get on with THEIR lives and plan and work for THEIR futures and also pay the taxes needed to support the old, ill and vulnerable. I make no judgements but some things seem blinking obvious.

It is not just the UK. There have also been protests in Spain as well as other parts of the world.

Agree crackpots aren’t limited to the UK. I notice that some still prefer not to accept the scientific evidence that this is not caused by 5G masts.
