I'm hoping to come back to Spain the first week in September. I really do need to get some bills paid and documents signed. Hopefully by then I will have some confidence in the way the virus is going and the isolation situation. I'm not comfortable getting on a plane when there are parts of the world still being badly affected.

Had the antibody test today..negative! Disappointed as I thought I had it in November, was very similar symptoms. Perhaps I had Covid 18  HaHa

Does anyone know what the new normal means for driving with passengers? Are there still restrictions relating to passenger numbers or whether they have to be members of the same family or live under the same roof...What about 9 seater van hire? I have looked around the net and can't find anything so thought i'd ask here. Thank you in advance for any info.

Basically you can have as many passengers as the car can legally carry. If they are not all living together masks must be worn by the driver and all passengers.

Brittany Ferries has just confirmed that sailings will resume from 29 June, so at last, we should be coming to Spain. Hooray!

The three checks at the port of arrival have been publicised (temperature check, visual check and completion of a form to show where we are staying), but I can't find anywhere that has details of how to get the form.

I've looked on UK govt websites, Spanish govt tourist pages and Spanish govt health pages, Spanish govt ports pages, I've even checked EasyJet and Ryanair but forms came there none. It's also not available on Brittany Ferries website and it's still email contact only with their customer support team.

Has anyone arrived by air from the UK and completed the form? Where did they get it?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I misunderstood and thought it was a response to my enquiry about forms to enter Spain.
Apologies.

Hi zanuck,
Brittany-Ferries would issue Forms for Non-EU nationals on the crossing over from UK to EU.

Have you done a full booking.......... :?: They may have added the "Form" to your E-Ticket............

I'm waiting for the dust to settle before booking my escape from Spain.............. :)
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

Hi Enrique

Yes, it's a full booking.

I guess that you are correct that BF would issue the forms, nothing yet from them online though. They do have a helpful "Together and Protected" page on their site which sets out what they have done and are doing to keep passengers and crew safe, including a short video; and it's on that page that I expected to find a link or pdf copy of the form. Maybe as we get closer to them actually restarting sailing on 29 June, they'll put the form online.

As we always do, we'll give the signpost for Alcala La Real a wave, as we drive past it on the E-902

I have part completed our forms online on the govt. website. You cannot complete the process until 48 hours before travel.

Vueling have their forms to download on their website.

They also mention that apart from Priority boarders, hand luggage cases must be checked in (for free) although you can still take a smaller bag on board that fits under the seat. Whether that will change in time I don't know. Our first booked flight isn't until the end of this year but my OH may still want to go back to see his dad before that. We'll have to see how things go. Our German neighbours are due here on Saturday so it will be interesting to see how their flight went.

It's actually much worse than that now - reported today that the number of infected people at the centre has gone up to 83.

That figure of 83 was announced by the Junta de Andalucia this morning, and by this afternoon it had already increased to 89, said Fernando Simón (due to continual tracking and testing).

So, it seems that as governments relax all sorts of rules Covid-19 is increasing. ¿Qué?
