Seems as all the strict regulation in Spain were pointless against the virus, especially the mask wearing. Will be similar in UK soon.
I think most outbreaks are probably due to increased testing, if 80% are asymptomatic what's the problem. Those who need/want to isolate can do so. Cases increasing in France and Germany now.

My other fear Katy is of the many who will indeed test positive, be it asymptomatic or not their card is marked. If they die in any circumstance whatsoever Covid will be named as a factor. And so it will go on.

True DA. heard another from a woman in our village. Her Father was rushed to hospital in Reading a few weeks ago. He was 90 and diagnosis was heart failure. Was tested for virus and clear. Consultant told her that prognosis was not good and to prepare for the worse. some stage later he caught the virus in hospital and died. Guess what. death certificate said cause of death was Covid.

A huge amount of the spanish outbreaks have come from ppl been in confined spaces and not wearing masks ie nightclubs, large funeral gatherings and the bolivians up in totana. Wearing masks outside where there isnt a large amount of ppl do nothing unless someone is walking around coughing and spluttering around others.

As of today, us oldies, using our Andalucia health cards, can get free masks from a pharmacia.
I got given a pack of three masks, he thinks we can have a pack once a month.

Hi Sid
Look similar to the basic 3 layers, blue one side and white the other side, ones except these are white both sides with Junto de Andalucia printed on the top front.
But they are free excluding the cost of driving to a pharmacia.

They are in all probability the ones made in Spain and conform to standards.

Hi,

On the Map at last...............Alcalá la Real

Article from 27-Febuary 2020

"Report from Canal Sur Noticias in Jaén, about the lack of masks in the province's pharmacies, due to fear of the coronavirus, which is affecting allergies but in turn has multiplied the production of a textile company in Santa Ana, in Alcalá la Real, which is manufacturing more than 80,000 masks a day."

No gave it a miss. Too difficult to book. There is a new ship too for next year.

Came down in three days. Two French speeding fines waiting . 83 and 84 in an 80 limit. The time limit for the discount has gone by the time we got back. Dread to think how many we have got on the return journey. makes the ferry even more attractive.

That's a pain re. the tickets. Surely a quick note explaining the pandemic has affected routines around the world will make them see you had no chance of paying the fines let alone receiving them in the circumstances.

I read the CEO's report every week on Brittany Ferries, I really feel for that bloke!

Not a chance the French will be sympathetic to your late payment, Their argument will be Corona virus doesn’t allow for breaking the Law. Getting caught speeding is a bi product of driving.

Rest assured we wont be contesting the fines or asking for reduction due to lock down. Did manage the toll for Dart crossing this time. I hope there isnt a points on licence facility for French speeding fines above a certain threshold.

Did a 1000 km with no screen washer facility. Bird flew into wheel arch and destroyed various components. VAG garage in Bilbao couldnt say when they would get the parts. El Crisis . Booked same hotel twice in Calais because no confirmative email. Neither the hotel or booking agency would refund the money. El Crisis.
