Re: NHS sharing your data
It knows I'm outside the UK, even though I use a proxy server.
Just tried with a VPN and it does work but our NHS cards are so old they don't have the correct up to date format of numbers. Ours have 4 letters and 2 numbers rather than 10 digits. I expect our records are in some repository these days as we left 20 years ago and have relinquished our UK NHS healthcare when we got Spanish cover, so I won't bother.

Re: NHS sharing your data
So the NHS wants to share my data with various, unnamed and unspecified people, or companies, for research purposes. Is that The Bill Gates Foundation, do you suppose? I wonder how much money they get for each persons data?
Re: NHS sharing your data
Looking at the site neither my wife nor I have the required 10 digit numbers.
Probably because we've been out of the UK for over 16 years.
However, both of us would have been happy to share our medical records for the purpose of medical research.
My wife would love it if research found a cure for the disease she has had for nearly 30 years for which, up to know, there is no known cure.
Cheers
Gerry

I suppose it depends who they are sharing it with. Its sure to be a money making thing.
