Covid Vaccinations Spain
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
We were done in Torrox Pueblo, pfizer - no choice.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
When they were giving AZ to our age group my friends said they didn't want it and so they were given Pfizer.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
Yeah a neighbour in my age group and older ones had Pfizer at nerja. Presume its the same at either the hospital or the sports centre? I know others who recently had jensen at velez. When booking it gave me the option of velez or nerja. When i clicked on velez (out of intrest) no appointments were offered. Nerja first offer was the 16th. My neighbour said they could see what they were getting in the salud responde app but im just getting an error message from when i first tried to book. I'll see if it updates over the weekend or just go in and ask next week i dont really want to turn up on the day and say thanks but no thanks!
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
Checked today and its Pfizer/moderna for my appointment. I wont be googling about moderna I'll take that over jensen.

Andalucia has now decided to bring forward the second dose of AZ to 10 weeks after the first, rather than 12 weeks. According to reports in the press today, those of us who already have appointments for our second dose will receive an SMS or a phone call to change our appointment dates. Whether this will happen before my scheduled appointment on 1st July, I don't know.

Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
I had my second AZ this evening exactly 12 weeks after my first. They phoned me this afternoon to ask if I could go earlier, which I did.
I got a printout with the he details of both jabs.
They said I can apply for my COVID passport tomorrow.

They're doing walk-in sessions for the Janssen next week for the over 40s. My OH is going to have it as it's just one jab and he missed his original appointment for it in June as it clashed with something else. Does he have to take ID for these jabs or just his health card?

I didn't need to show anything other than my health card when I went for either of my jabs, but had my TIE with me just in case.
I don't know what the queues are going to be like for these walk-in sessions - the notices advertising them say there are 600 doses available in Vélez and 400 in Nerja.

I would take Medical card and TIE/Driving license that should be overkill.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
There are walk in sessions at San Pedro de Alcantera this weekend but it says below must be registered with that Health centre.

The notices advertising the walk-in sessions in Vélez-Málaga and Nerja say they are open to people who are registered at any health centre within the Málaga-Axarquia Area Sanitaria.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
OH just noticed that it says Weds 22nd, when in fact Weds is the 21st. After much searching found an article in the EWN that confirms it is Thurs 22nd https://www.euroweeklynews.com/2021/07/ ... day-nerja/
Unless anyone has seen anything different?

Thanks FaL, it looks like it's Thursday then. He'll get there early and queue and hope it's not too long.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
Poster on San Pedro one says. 40 Anos o mas. Jensen. Sabado 9.00- 14.00. Si perteneces al centre de Salud de San Pedro…te esperamos.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
My OH has now been jabbed with the Janssen (all very organised and efficient) and just wondering how to download his certificate. Presumably it takes time to get onto the system? I've looked on Clicsalud under EU Covid certificate .... is that where it will appear?
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
Mine was there when I got home both times. Done in Pueblo.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
I have gone into his records with the digital certificate and then clicked on certificados covid 19 and then imprimir, but it just says there is nothing in the records that he has had the jab. But then it is shown that he's had it under the vacunos section. Perhaps it will appear in time.
Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain
You can get it via the salud andalucia app aswell. I think lyric posted the info. I have downloaded the app but not tried it yet
