DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
Can anyone help please . I used to have two certificates in my CLICSALUD Application. one with my name on it and another general one above it. I have tried installing the Digital Certificate I originally got from my Gestor but this does not seem to work. I cannot access my details on CLICSALUD anymore. I do not know what I have done on my computer. Do digital certificates have an expiry date on them. Please can someone guide me through the process step by step to reinstall my Digital Certificate on my Computer if that is what i must do to access my medical details again
Thank You
David

Hi pensure1988,
"I have tried installing the Digital Certificate I originally got from my Gestor".........I think that is a one off, as recently had same problem with another Member.
When did you get your Digital Signature from your Gestor......
You needed to Export (from Browser) and save it in a Secure location x3
" Do digital certificates have an expiry date on them.".......yes The latest ones have a 4 year life, previously it was 3 years.
Have you a Backup Copy..........

Re: DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
Hi Enrique
I believe the Digital Certificate is saved in my Windows 10 Registry somewhere. The original certificate was obtained by my Gestor on 10/01/2018. I do not think I have no Back-up copy. How do I proceed know. I have tried re-installing the certificate from the original email in 2018 but does not seem to help.
Thanks
David

Re: DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
Hi pensure1988,
I don't know when they changed from 3 year to 4 years .......I renewed in Oct 2019 and it was 4 years
What is the file extension on the original email............
Your Digital Certificate may have expired......... look in your Browser Cetificate area
Ok Just seen your answer....................
Your Certificate should show up in the Browser Personal Tab.......I'm having issues finding it in Vivaldi.....that I've just installed........
OK found them..... ......same as Google Chrome..........I'll PM you how to see them later as in middle of another task.......

Hi pensure1988,
You can read the FAQ............ it's a heavy read..........
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=27571
Or you can read the following...........from when I last obtained one. 2019
Hi,
Some new Members may find the FAQ on the subject a bit daunting, the original was written by Chrissie, while relevant at the time ,Operating systems and Browsers have been updated.
Use your chosen browser ........... I used Firefox .
https://www.sede.fnmt.gob.es/en/certifi ... ertificado
Now you are ready to proceed with the Application
NIE
Surname
Email Address
Print off the Notificacions FNMT Page from the email that has the Unique ID Number
Look up where your nearest Local Office is located......beware that the List may/is not be up to date so have a second location to hand
I went to Local Town Hall..........
I took copies of Passport, Green Form, NIE..........None of these were needed !
They only needed Passport and the Printed email page.......no copies made at the office
Sign a Form keeping a copy and come away. They will Email the next part of the Application Procedure.
Fire up your ( Firefox) browser and Follow link that is in this email
I used same Email address for both our applications.
Install your shiny new Digital Signature/s and check its in "Your Certificates"
Check it works by going to ...........
https://www.agenciatributaria.gob.es/AE ... icio.shtml
And check your Details that AEAT Holds on you.
NOW BACKUP your Certificate/s by Exporting........Give a meaningful name and Password......
Make at least Three (3) Copies and locate on different systems/Media
You are now good to go for four years.
GerryH cracked the whole procedure in 2 hrs from applying .......I slept on mine and got it the next day..........

Enrique, it's probably time to replace my original instructions with yours ! As you say, things have moved on now, so best to keep it reasonably upto date

Hi pensure1988,
Thanks for feed back..........I did mine as non-resident so could you Post on what ID Documents they ask for.
It was a win for me too.........delayed me going out on a frosty mountain side to cut wood and I now have a shiny new Browser to play with.
Added: Just Exported my Certificate from Vavaldi using the Defaults......... removed it ......Imported it ,said Successful BUT not seeing it in Certificate Window.
Will look at this in more detail later..........

Re: DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
Hi pensure1988,
Later..........
I'm hoping you used Google Chrome for your Certificate application.................
In Vavildi if I Export my Certificate , then Remove it, then Import , although it says Successful it fails to load in Certificate Window.
From the FAQ...............
YOU MUST NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO YOUR COMPUTER FROM NOW UNTIL THE WHOLE PROCESS HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED YOUR CERTIFICATE. THIS INCLUDES CHANGING BROWSER, REFORMATTING THE HARD DRIVE AND POSSIBLY UPDATES
So if you used Vivaldi to apply.............I'd reapply using Google Chrome..........The Exported Certificate (Chrome) can then be used in Vavaldi Import.

Hi Enrique
Thank your further information which has been noted. Here is a translated version of the acknowledgement I received from the system. I have booked a Town Hall appointment for Thursday Morning.
"The details of your FNMT-RCM Natural Person certificate are:
Request code: 735791707
NIF / NIE:
Please verify that the data you entered in the application phase:

With this application code and the required documentation of their identity, the applicant and future certificate holder must personally go to an Identity Accreditation Office to accredit their data with the valid , current identity document in original format or failing that. , an officially certified photocopy . If for any reason you cannot do it personally, a third person may go on your behalf, but the prior legitimacy of your signature of the FNMT-RCM contract before a notary will be required.
- Citizen of Spanish nationality: National Identity Document (DNI), passport or driving license.
- Citizen of the European Union: Official document stating the NIE along with Passport or identity document of the country of origin.
- Foreign citizen: Official NIF / NIE concession document along with the passport.
For your convenience, you can make use of our service for locating the closest Offices, which you will find in our Electronic Headquarters under PROVIDE YOUR IDENTITY . (NOTE: In the AEAT offices and some Social Security offices, a prior appointment is required.)

Hope this helps anyone who may want to renew their Digital Certificate in the Future

Hi pensure1988,
My findings with Vivaldi Browser....................You can't make a usable Export /Backup copy of the Digital Certificate.
You will have to use Google Chrome to apply for your Certificate......... then you can Export it with the Private Key to a .pfx file that then can be Imported into Vivaldi.
Supported Browsers...........Latest versions
Mozilla Firefox
Google Chrome
Microsoft EDGE
Opera
Safari

Re: DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
Hi Enrique
Many thanks for all this updated information. I will now use chrome to apply for my new Digital Certificate and then follow your instructions on receipt thereof. Still cannot find these certificates that should be reflected in Vivaldi . I go to the Privacy Tab and then get frustrated looking further for it. My Tab says Privacy only not Privacy & settings. Can you guide me here.
Thanks
David

Hi pensure1988,
You are missing the crucial first line of the procedure I Posted.........
Vivaldi Browser
Certificate Location
type chrome://settings/certificates in URL Bar
then
Privacy and Security --> Security
Scroll down and under Advanced --> Manage certificates
The Certificates Window will pop up and you can view your Certificates in the Personal Tab
Different way from viewing Certificates in Chrome
