Please recommend your optician if appropriate.
Not the discount supplier in the Ingenio centre or a well known Danish one in Nerja.
Will travel Torre to Nerja, nearer to Torrox the better.
Opticians
Re: Opticians
Those are the two I've used, so it will be interesting to see who else is recommended. They just don't seem to do a thorough test like the UK ones do, unless Specsavers in Fuengirloa do? I always have a test when I go to the UK with a scan (for an extra tenner).
Re: Opticians
Management is using a consultant privately in Malaga and he has pronounced her prescription as not the best. The last lot changed what she had been prescribed by him. He was furious and her glasses are obviously wrong. So she is seeking someone else recommended. This worked with vets so I thought I'd try Opticians.
Re: Opticians
The test is usually very quick at the opticians here, very cursory. They don't examine your eyes like in the UK. It was the UK Specsavers that told me I had blepharitis which the Nerja Danish man never mentioned even though he used to examine my contact lens fit very closely. You could have hardly missed the ingrowing eyelashes that I had ..... I now pluck them out myself pretty successfully! My only complaint here is that the specialist said I must use eye drops 5 times a day but they won't give them to you on prescription, and they're quite expensive even online.

Re: Opticians
Specsavers in Fuengirola do seem to conduct a comprehensive eye test.....far more intense than most Spanish opticians, However, you must make your own mind up about the quality of the product they then sell you.....and the effectiveness (or otherwise) of any problem solving thereafter.
